She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruce Herring and Opal Herring (McKay); her husband James "Jimmie" L. Ruddy; and her siblings, Bettie Fritch, Tom and Quentin Herring.
She is survived by: her sister Nancy Jeschke of Troy; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Harrell of St. Joseph and Marilyn Ruddy of Lenexa, Kansas. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Troy Christian Church (120 S Liberty St, Troy, KS 66087).
