He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Shelton and Petronel Clary; his stepparents, Hobert Clary and Mary Rose Shelton; and his brother Dwain Shelton.
He is survived by: his wife Letha; his children, Michael, Nancy Goodwin (Terry) of St. Joseph, Missouri. and Diana Livingston of St. Joseph, Missouri.; his siblings, Gary Clary (Gail), Kenny Shelton, Rick Shelton (Mary) of Arizona, Pam Lehmer (Mark), Betty Schreiner and Carolee Harring of Falls City, Neb; his grandchildren, Megan, Leslie, Traci Kaylee (Tyler), Abbee, Bryson (Kathrin) and Justin; his great grandchildren, Sadie, Jaelynn, Jalysse, Kinzlie, Jett, Camden, Boden and Kolbie; and his great great grandchildren, Maddie, Cie, Kayson, Jaxson and Maverick. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
