He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Gaither and Barbara "Jean" Gaither (Horner); his parents-in-law, Charles and Virginia Albers; and his siblings-in-law, David Dishon, Billy Smith, Gene Shelton, Alan Tryon and Martha Albers.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Albers; his siblings, Kelvin Gaither, Loren Gaither (Connie), Marilee Dishon of Wathena, Kansas., Sharon Smith Tryon of Wathena, Kansas., Susan Shuster of Wathena, Kansas. and Phyllis Shelton of Wathena, Kansas.; and his brothers-in-law, Phillip Albers (Sarah), Danny Albers (Kathy), Ron Albers and Steve Albers (Candy). He is also survived by Twenty-one nieces and nephews, numerous great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
