He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Nemecek and Regina Nemecek; and his siblings, Rose Martino, Mary Blackburn, Joe, Frank and Ernest Nemechek.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce L. Smith; his children, Trudy, John Thorburn of Buffalo, WY, Brent, Beth Nemechek and Blake; his grandchildren, Ryan (Nicole Thorburn), Jenna Thorburn, Amy (Pete Michalczyk), Rhett Thorburn, Nick (Jenifer Nemechek), Andrew Nemechek and Cody Nemechek; and his great grandchildren, Madelyn, Gabrielle, Addison, Hayden, Peyton, Rylee, Harper and Hadley.
