He was predeceased by: his mother Eunice Varner (Pierce); his son Kenneth Van Arsdale, Jr.; his siblings, Delbert, Donald, Milborn Varner and Lela Henry (Ed); and his brother-in-law Joe Lill.
He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Swarts (Eddie), Julie Cornell and Dennis Van Arsdale; his sister Wilma Lill; and his sisters-in-law, Pat and Lynda Varner. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren.
