We are sad to announce that on May 9, 2023, at the age of 96, Kay Smith (Towanda, Kansas), born in Seminole, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Wilson and Jessie Jewel Minick (Vulgamore); her husband Billy Jack Smith; her siblings, Leo Minick, Birdie McAnelly and Jean Ware; and her son Robert of Towanda, KS..

She is survived by: her son Ronald Highbarger (Judy) of Old Town, ME; her grandchildren, Morey Highbarger (Jen) and Carrie Smart (Matt); her daughter Peggy Bratton (Roy) of Rowlett, TX; her grandchildren, Austin Bratton (Brandy) and Taylor Bratton (Andy Montero); her daughter-in-law Linda Highbarger of Towanda, KS; and her granddaughters-in-law, Brenda Knipfer (Frank) and Amy (Chris Ragland). She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
