With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hugh Douglas Van Buskirk (Towanda, Kansas), born in Lockwood, Missouri, who passed away on August 12, 2019 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Iva May (Heiskell) and James Hugh Van Buskirk; and his sister Jean Bocock. He is survived by: his wife Janet "Jan" Van Buskirk (Ellison); his son Landon Van Buskirk (Monica) of Towanda; his granddaughter Henrietta Van Buskirk; his brothers, Dan Van Buskirk (Marion) of Andover, Darrell Van Buskirk of Wichita and Bill Van Buskirk (Julie) of Amarillo, Tex.; and his brother-in-law Brent Bocock of Wichita. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
