He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Floyd Brush and Edith Brush (Wallace); his children, Michael Brush (Carol) of Omaha, Patricia Steinbacher (John) of El Dorado and Jennifer Krebsbach (Kirby) of Williston, ND; and his siblings, Peggy Rowell of South Carolina and Albert Brush of North Carolina. He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren.
