He was predeceased by: his parents, Lon Unger and Dovie Unger; his siblings, Virginia Berry, Georgia Jones, Bob Unger, Junior Unger and Lon Jess "LJ" Unger; and his half-brother Nathan Tilley.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Unger; his children, Daniel Unger (Teresa), Tamatha Knaak (Chris) and Trevis Unger (Danae); and his sisters, Hazel Dowden of Houston, TX and Mary Ellen Wall of Mrytle Point, OR. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.
