She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Smith and Jewell Smith (Curnutt). She is survived by: her husband Fred Brush; her daughter Jamie Clarke of Benton, Kansas; her grandson Nick Clarke of Towanda, Kansas; her nieces, Amber Denney Bondurant and April Denney; and her sister Peggy Denney.

Memorial contributions in her name may be directed towards the Humane Society.
