It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William James (Topeka, Kansas), born in Ellsworth, Kansas, who passed away on June 14, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn James and Wanda James; and his nephew Christian Keefer. He is survived by: his wife Mel James (Robertson); his son Derek Badsky; his daughter-in-law Cesily Badsky; his grandsons, Briston Badsky and Hendrix Badsky; his son Randy Badsky; his daughter-in-law Sue Badsky; his grandson Nick Badsky; his sister Kay Keefer; his nephew Justin Strausbaugh; his niece-in-law Jessica Strausbaugh; his great-niece Aliya Strausbaugh; and his great-nephew Daniel Strausbaugh.

Bill also made significant donations to area shelters in his commitment to helping pooches in need.
