He was predeceased by: his father Louis Dyer; his siblings, Peggy Dyer and Mark Dyer; and his stepson Jimmy Blancas III. He is survived by: his mother Marylou Smith; his sister Mary Benner (John); his daughter Holly Buckley; his stepson Cory Huntress; and his grandchildren, Katie Marrow, Randy Marrow, Kalanie Rose Dyer and Christopher Dyer. He is also survived by 3 nieces and 1 nephew; and many extended family and friends.
