He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas George Turner and Violet Turner (Franklin); his wife Helen Louise Smith; and his siblings, Thomas "Wayne" Turner (Wallace "Jay" Turner) and Willa "May" Bufalo.
He is survived by: his children, Kimberly Jo McCoy (Mark) and Timothy Warren Turner (Nancy) of Topeka; his grandchildren, Tyler Alexander Turner, Abby Marie Turner and Anya Joann Turner; his siblings, Wilma Fay Cravens, Kay Jones (Steve), Betty Booth (Ron) of Colorado and Ben Turner Larry (Cheryl) of Topeka; his brothers-in-law, Dean Smith (Sharon) and Ed Pruitt; and also, Colin Alexander Turner, Harvey and Vicky Harris.
A memorial service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home (1321 SW 10th Ave, Topeka, KS 66604).
