It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wanda Lucille Meakins of Topeka, Kansas, who passed away on August 31, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Holmes and Ivah Holmes; her husband Jack; her daughter Brenda; and her brothers, Alvin and Glen.
She is survived by: her children, Gerald Meakins (Cora), Shirley Meakins, Susan Desch and Darrell Meakins (Pam); and her siblings, Jean Bonrud and Ben Woolsoncroft (Deb). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Parker-Price & Davidson (245 NW Independence Ave, Topeka, KS 66608). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
