Wanda Elaine Hicks Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda Elaine Hicks (Topeka, Kansas), who passed away on February 18, 2025, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Lawrence Martin; her son John Hicks; her granddaughter Nicole Paris; her sister Betty Lorenz; and her husband Dale Dean Hicks.
She is survived by: her mother Ruby Martin (Woodward); her daughter Lana Beck (Lyle Thompson); her grandchildren, Lori Zehner (Randy), Franklin Pease (Desiree), Robert Pease, Daylene Wittman, Dale Hicks (Rae), Ashley Heffernon (Craig), Abby Haase (Aaron) and Samuel Hicks (Shadab); her nephew Lawrence Vogel (Cinda); and her great-niece Lindsay Silver (Clint).
A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Southern Baptist Church (1912 SW Gage Blvd, Topeka, KS 66604). A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 12:15 PM at the Topeka Cemetery (1601 SE 10th Ave #1, Topeka, KS 66607).
In her honor, memorial contributions may be made to First Southern Baptist Church.
