She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Edward and Emma Julia Waetzig (Purdy); and her son Delbert Dean Downs. She is survived by: her children, Debbie Uhl of Topeka and Darren Downs (Jonna) of Topeka; and her sisters, June Onnen, Peggy Owens of Topeka, Alice Bernhardt and Carol Ashwill of Carbondale. She is also survived by five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
