It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Veronica Konrade of Topeka, Kansas, born in Emmett, Kansas, who passed away on March 15, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael L. Reilly and Victoria M. Hrenchir Reilly; and her siblings, Michael, Martin, Harold Francis, Edward, James Kenneth, John, Mary Rita Young, Joan Theresa Reilly and Ramona Arp.
She is survived by: her husband Woody; her sons, Tom Konrade (Cathy) and Tony Konrade (Kristy); her grandchildren, Jacob Konrade (Nicole), Charlie Konrade (Rachel), Grant Konrade, Jack Konrade and Jude Konrade; and her great grandchildren, Otto Konrade and Lilah Konrade.
Facebook kept her connected to the world as her mobility declined, and she was able to view Masses online during the pandemic and watch Hayden football games from the comfort of her home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart-St. Joseph Parish or Hayden Catholic High School, and sent in care of the funeral home.
