It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verle A. Brown of Topeka, Kansas, born in Manhattan, Kansas, who passed away on June 5, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Earl Shelby and Joy L. Ward Shelby; her siblings-in-law, Helen Worthington of Topeka, Robert Brown of Topeka, Kenneth Brown of Topeka, Don Brown and Roy Brown of Grantville; her husband John Brown; and her siblings, Burle Shelby of Topeka and Earline Rathbun. She was also cherished by several nieces, nephews as well as great nieces and nephews.
