She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Lee Best and Minnie May Best (Adair); her son Danny Ray Slagle; and her brother George Best. She is survived by: her husband John Lockrey; her children, George Best (Lenexa) and Nancy Slagle (Lawrence); and her sisters, Doris Willis of Kilgore, TX and JoAnne Edwards. She is also survived by four granddaughters and two great-grandsons.
