Thomas Barranco Martinez Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Barranco Martinez of Topeka, Kansas, who passed away on July 27, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Martinez and Concepcion Martinez (Barranco); his daughters, Nancy and Greta Martinez; his former wife Barbara A. Martinez; and his siblings, Eva Gonzales, Ambrosio Martinez and Carlos Martinez.

He is survived by: his wife Cathi Newsham-Martinez; his children, Rhonda Hamilton (Chris), John Sandella (Jeanne), Tom Martinez, Daniel Martinez and Alec B. Martinez; his stepchildren, Genni Boyles (Mitch) and Brent Newsham; his grandchildren, Tricia, Cody, Megan, Troy, Zack, Dallas and Ray; his great grandchildren, Britton, Leighton, Conley, Aaron and Harli; and his siblings, Jose Martinez (Celeste), Juaquin Martinez (Kelli), Maria Martinez, Juanita Hicks (Rich), Barbara Martinez (Frank), Susie Bucia (Steve), Pedro Martinez, Faustino "Tino" Martinez (Demia) and Phyllis Quaderer Rosemary Martinez (Daryl). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
