He was predeceased by: his parents, David Carreno and Peggy Carreno (Penrod); his siblings, Marty and Jessica Carreno; his foster brother Tony Patterson; and his grandson Dylan Mulford.

He is survived by: his wife Vicki; his daughters, Kim Mulford of Delia and Randee Jean Carreno of Topeka; and his sisters, Tereasa Hall and Margaret Carreno of Topeka.
