He is survived by: his children, Matthew Hamel and Abigail Hamel; his siblings, Karen Soltis (Mark) and Debbie Campbell; his nieces and nephews, Robin Lawton (Corbin), Justin Campbell (Dani), Joshua Campbell (Junnae) and JoAnna Vance (Mike); and his child Michelle Hamel.
