He was predeceased by: his son Brian Alan Damron; and his parents, William Damron and Joyce Damron (Dryden). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Lee Buchlein; his son Stephen Carl Damron II (Candi); his sister Julie Damron Dittmer (Phil); his grandchildren, Mitchell, Abigail and William Damron; and his great grandchildren, Cali Damron and Bennett O'Brien.
