It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Spencer Arthur La Rue Jr. of Topeka, Kansas, born in Muskogee, Oklahoma, who passed away on February 24, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Spencer, Sr. Rue and Mary La Rue (Wachob); his spouse Maye Zart; his children, Spencer A. La Rue, III, Peggy Baker and Ruth Wicks; and his siblings, Willis Wick, Howard Wick, Dora Milburn and Opal Mock.

He is survived by: his daughter Lisa La Rue Baker (John) of Topeka, KS. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations be made in Arts memory to Midland Care Hospice sent in care of Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th Avenue, Topeka, KS 66603.
