She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Gilbert and Vera Gilbert (Estes); her former husband Robert Pfeffer; her brother John Gilbert; her children, Robert Pfeffer (Shelly), Ryan Bennett of Topeka, Sandy Whitcomb of Topeka and Shelly Cunningham (Greg) of Mayetta; and her siblings, Jim Gilbert of Topeka, Jerry Gilbert of Topeka and Shara Gilbert of Topeka. She was also cherished by nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
