With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Sherry Farris of Topeka, Kansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Sherry left this world on November 27, 2024 at the age of 75, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow W. Powell and Pauline M. Powell of Lubbock, TX; her brothers, Gerald Powell of Waxahachie, TX and Waylen Powell of Lubbock, TX; and her parents-in-law, Clyde C. and Anna L. Farris of Lubbock, TX..
She is survived by: her husband William C. "Bill" Farris; her daughter Melaine Warner; her grandchildren, Anna, Noah and Sarah Kate; her daughter Heather Fay; her grandsons, Luke, Drew and Cole; her daughter Angela Mackey; her grandchildren, Emma, Lorelei and Josiah; her son Christopher Farris of Washington, D. C.; her sister Patricia Barton; and also, Mark Warner, Troy Fay and Daniel Mackey. She is also survived by loving brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home (1321 SW 10th Ave, Topeka, KS 66604). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
