He is survived by: his children, Sam Henderson Jr., Jeannie Brown and Jennifer Alban; his grandchildren, Matthew Alban, Marcus Alban, Sam Henderson III, Savonte Henderson, Basil Brown Jr., JaBreya Brown and Sariah Henderson; and his siblings, Horace Henderson, Carl Henderson, William Henderson of Stanley Henderson, J. C, Donnie Johnson, Thelma Lucas, Rhonda Frierson, Irene Henderson, Anne Henderson, May Henderson, Becky Henderson-McGinnis, Julie Johnson and Barbara Johnson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bowser Johnson Funeral Chapel (723 SW 6th Ave, Topeka, KS 66603). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A repast will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Garfield Community Center (1600 NE Quincy St, Topeka, KS 66608).
