With solemn reverence, we commemorate Ruth Wieland of Topeka, Kansas, whose life came to an end on April 13, 2025 at the age of 96, leaving behind cherished memories. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Ruth leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Ruth may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin (Thelma Boyce) and Emporia; her husband Virgil Wieland; her siblings, Don Boyce, Lola Farr and Helen Thill; and her son Terry Wieland.
She is survived by: her daughter Debbie Baughman (Kurt); her brother Glen Boyce; and her grandchildren, Andrea Glur (Kevin), Stephanie Matchett (Jon), Tom Wieland (Serena) and Jason Wieland. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, and two (almost three!) great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Rosean Cemetery.
