It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Delores Patterson (Topeka, Kansas), who passed away on July 9, 2018, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Pearl J. Patterson; her son James Edward Patterson; and her siblings, George Morton, Romie Scales, Elizabeth Gilley, Maxine Craig and Carolyn Scales.
She is survived by: her sons, Larry Frederick Patterson, Robert Eugene Patterson and Joseph Wayne Patterson; and her sisters, Ethel Menefee of Henderson, Leona Sales of Sacramento and Elaine Rigsby of Topeka. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
