He was predeceased by: his great-aunt Clara; his father Larry Michaelis; his grandparents, LeRoy, Bessie Michaelis, Jacob and Olga Reisig; his uncle David Reisig; and his aunt Pamela Reisig.

He is survived by: his parent Shirley Thomas (Harry); and his sisters, Valerie Williams (Michael Geranen), Kimberly Read (Chris) and Natalie Martin (Brian). He is also survived by several aunts, beloved nieces and nephews, and cousins.

A memorial has been established with CPRF Wheelchair Clinic, located at 5130 E. 20th St, Wichita, KS 67208.
