He was predeceased by: his parents, Vern Irving and Marie Maxine Montney (Gatlin); and his brother Tim Montney. He is survived by: his spouse Devern Pasley; his children, Natalie Montney (Trevor Frye) and Justin Montney (Alexis-Athena Wyatt); his granddaughter Caroline Frye; and his siblings, Edith Oxford of Ulysses, KS, Wayne Montney (Marilyn) and Susan Purcell (George).
