He is survived by: his wife Lucile Niebrugge; his children, Mark Shoemaker (Wanda) of Reading, Kansas and Lori McReynolds (Eric) of Topeka; his grandchildren, Ashley Diggs (Travis) of Republic, Isaac Shoemaker (Katie) of Williamsport, Luke Shoemaker (Saby) of Mount Vernon, Connor McReynolds of Topeka and Mallory McReynolds of Topeka; his great grandchildren, Collin, Madison and Eden Diggs; and his sister Shirley Buek of Overbrook, Kansas..
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home (2801 SW Urish Rd, Topeka, KS 66614). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mission Township Fire Department or Midland Care and sent in care of the funeral home.
