He was predeceased by: his parents, John Riedel and Anna Riedel; his wife Kay; and his siblings, Ed Riedel, Joe Riedel, John Riedel, Leona Kinderknecht, Isabelle Fiffe, Aurelia Artzer and Clara Finan.
He is survived by: his children, Jason Riedel, Ashley Yardley (Zachary) and Courtney Riedel (Shawn O'Dell); his grandchildren, Brittany, Kelsey, Jayden Riedel, Aidan Wiegert, Benjamin and Olivia Yardley; his great grandchildren, Calvin and Quincy Walker; and his siblings, Jeannie Gross (Vernon), Vera Hartman, Doris Perry, Mary Lynn Ryan (Francis) and Vern Riedel.
