He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Barnes and Edna Barnes (England); his wife Karen Chenoweth; and his sisters, Phyllis Sterling and Marjorie Pettit.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jenni Kahle and Jeanette Allington (Clinton); his siblings, Wilma Knopf, Larry Barnes, Naomi McCumiskey, June Barnes and Tony Barnes; his grandchildren, Lindsey Garcia (Martin), Chase Kahle (Corinne) and Hali Blank (Wesley); and his great grandchildren, Sophia Garcia, Griffin Blank and Leon Thomas Kahle.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association and sent in care of Parker Price Funeral Home.
