He was predeceased by: his mother Gracie Louber Groves; his stepson Terry Ledbetter; his siblings, Arthur Jr., June Staggs, Dolores Werner, Donald, Kenneth and Leroy; and his father Arthur Sr. Groves.
He is survived by: his children, Kelly Alexander (Shawn) of Topeka, Robert K. Groves of Topeka and Caroline Ortiz of Topeka; his sister Judy Cochran of Topeka; and his grandchildren, Dustin, Garrett, Danielle, Michael, Payton, Bodie, Tatum and Jordan. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Topeka Rescue Mission or to the Topeka Shawnee County Helping Hands Humane Society.
