It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Louise Almaraz (Topeka, Kansas), born in Wamego, Kansas, who passed away on May 4, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pete "Pinky" and Arlene Unterberger (Vogl); her former husband Duane Umscheid; and her husband Adan Almaraz, Sr.. She is survived by: her son David Umscheid (Sherry); and her siblings, Kenneth Unterberger (Betty), Gerald Unterberger, Thomas Unterberger (Helen), Frieda "Fritz" Ebert and Cleta Ann Dickson.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the Alcanon Club or to Huntington Disease Society of America sent in care of Brennan-Mathena Funeral Home, 800 SW 6th Avenue, Topeka, KS 66603.
