He was predeceased by: his father Richard Joseph Carlson. He is survived by: his mother Janet "Susie" Carlson (Bolyard) of Osage City; his daughter Amanda Carlson of Wichita; and his sisters, Sandy Griffith (Gary) of Osage City, Kim Conner (Kevin) of Osage City and Sally Carlson of Lawrence. He is also survived by seven nieces and nephews.
