Richard Neal Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 5, 2025, at the age of 90, Richard Neal (Topeka, Kansas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Richard departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Richard leaves behind.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Neal and Thelma Neal (Boyd); and his brother Charlie. He is survived by: his brother Charles (Vera Neal); his wife Mitzie Neal (Dickinson); his sister Maurine Herren; and his daughters, Jeri Neal, Shawn Huntley and Dana Neal (Tom Ball). He is also survived by three grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
