He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Meyer and Lillian Meyer (Tuma); and his brother William "Bill" Meyer. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his daughter Casey Meyer (Mike Nichols) of Kansas City, KS; his granddaughters, Adeline and Samantha Nichols; and his siblings, Verla Buch, Robert "Bob" Meyer (Leuita) and Alma Mae Hassler. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
