He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence A. Flanders and Maye Flanders (Scheidegger); and his brothers, John, Raymond, George and Paul Flanders.
He is survived by: his spouse Shirley J. Sharrai; his children, Richard D. Flanders (Sun) of Abilene, TX, Terry L. Flanders of Topeka, KS, Cheryl A. Anderson (Michael) of Redding, CA and Mark D. Flanders (Sheila) of Texas City, TX; and his brother Kenneth Flanders (Virginia) of Haysville, KS. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
