He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Florentino, Adelina Escalante, Norberto Adame, Sr. and Dolores C. "Lola" Adame. He is survived by: his parents, Javier Escalante and Lucille "Lucy" Escalante (Adame); his daughter Liliana Ferrer Escalante; his siblings, Javier Escalante Jr. (Deb) and Maria Guerrero (Matt); his nieces, Alina and Ava Guerrero; his nephew Carlos Guerrero; his girlfriend Misty Dawn; and also Liliana. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brennan Mathena Funeral Home (800 SW 6th Ave, Topeka, KS 66603). A rosary was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (201 NE Chandler St, Topeka, KS 66616). A burial was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery (801 SW Westchester Rd, Topeka, KS 66606).
