He was predeceased by: his former wife Glenna Rathert; and his parents, Louis Rathert and Esther Rathert (Galbreath). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Rathert; his children, Karen Boehr (Douglas) and Kevin Rathert (Lori); his stepson Joe Johnson; his grandchildren, Kelly Ulmer (Alex), Kristen Glasgow (Kyle), Kayla Young (Mitch) and Ryan Rathert (Stephanie); his great grandchildren, Brady Glasgow, Brecken Ulmer, Teddi Rae Young and Lorelai Ulmer; his grandchildren, Jacqueline Crowl (Shane Doudna), Danielle Schnegelsiepen (Adam), Alexandra Forshee (Zachary), Jessie Crowl, Kellie Crowl, Jessie Revell (Justin) and Danielle Goodwin (JT); and his siblings, Marvin Lindberg, Joan Arbogast, Marjean Rossman and Judy Scritchfield.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home (1321 SW 10th Ave, Topeka, KS 66604). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Raymond's honor to the Kansas Children's Service League, 3545 SW 5th St, Topeka, KS 66606.
