She was predeceased by: her husband Gary Hays; her parents, Harold Cleveland and June Cleveland; her grandmothers, Jessie Whipple and Cecelia Cleveland; and her sister Susan Collins.
She is survived by: her former husband Randy Marmon; her daughters, Vanessa Hays (Matthew Blankers) of California and Briana Hays (Chad Lawton) of Topeka; her granddaughter Alaina Alfrey of Topeka; her sister Rinda Hardman (Greg) of Olathe; her nephew Jesse Hardman (Heather); her son William of Olathe; and her niece Maggie McKenna (Matt) of Ankeny.
