He was predeceased by: his parents, Maxene VanLeeuwen and P. A. VanLeeuwen; and his brother Steve VanLeeuwen. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Watters of Elizabeth's Catholic Church; his daughter Jennifer Foster (Cody); his grandchildren, Dylan and Ella Foster; and his siblings, Patricia Holland, Shirley Gray, Susan Coeme, Mary Lou Reeves and John VanLeeuwen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
