He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard W. Hammond and Dorothy Riddle Hammond; his sister Patsy Dodds; and his nephew Douglas Dodds. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Hammond of Topeka; his daughter Suzanne Shandy (Steve); his grandchildren, Luke Shandy and Miranda Moland; his great grandchild Thea Moland; his brother Phillip Hammond (Connie); and his siblings-in-law, Richard Skinner (Tamara) and Linda Skinner. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
