He was predeceased by: his parents, Josephine Connors and Joseph Fortin; and his brother Alfred. He is survived by: his children, David Fortin, Joan Fortin Peterson, Suzanne Fortin and John Fortin; and his wife Jane. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
