We are sad to announce that on September 9, 2020, at the age of 87, Paul Degener of Topeka, Kansas, born in Detroit, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edward Henry Degener and Flora Evelyn Willard; his former spouses, Bobbi Jean Sill-McCall and Shirley Ann Bakken; his wife Maggie Degener of Topeka; his children, Paul Alan Degener (Rose) of Yulee, FL and Linda Paulette Klinkner (Joe) of Pickerington, OH; his stepchildren, Thomas Jones (Rhonda) of Biloxi, Mississippi and Sonia Lawrence (Eric) of Perry, KS; his half-siblings, John Edward Degener of Holland, Georgette Alice Hill of Indiana and Rose Marie Degener of Costa Mesa, CA; his stepchildren, Stephen Duane Bakken of Mission, KS, Craig Bakken of Derry, NH, Bradley Alon Bakken of Anaheim, CA, Robert Neal McCall of Augusta, GA, Delores June McCall-Hill of Florida, Cathie McCall-Richards of Evans, GA and Mary Lynn McCall-Jones; and his siblings, Blanche Miller and Ward Bishop. He was also cherished by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the North Topeka Baptist Church and sent in care of the Davidson Funeral Home.
