She was predeceased by: her parents, Burleigh Hoover and Mary Alma Hoover (Newkirk); and her siblings, Larry, Merlin, John, Howard, Fern, Marjorie, Elva, Janet Sue, Lavon and Dorothy May.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Duncan (Tuck) of Topeka and Kala Allen Hisel of Topeka; her stepchildren, Hank Hudson (Jeanne) of Topeka, Mark Hudson (Julie) of Arlington, Virginia and Laura Calton of Gainesville, Florida.; her grandchildren, Spencer Duncan, Ryan Duncan, Lindsay Engleken, Ashey Hisel, Scott Hudson, Rachel Hudson Heisterberg, Kelli Kirkeminde, Joromono Martin and Lauren Castillo; her great grandchildren, Tessa Olorunfumi, Cierra Ransom, Paige Ransom, Amberle Smith, Liam Smith, Connor Heller, Blair Heisterberg, Reece Heisterberg, Finley Heisterberg, Grace Heisterberg, Ava Andrews, Clara Hudson, Conner Kirkeminde, Hadley Kirkeminde, Hudson Kirkeminde, Mara Castillo and Andrew Johnson; and her great great grandchild Gabriel Olorunfemi.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Faith Lutheran Church (1716 SW Gage Blvd, Topeka, KS 66604). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
