He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Cecil, Lottie Kern, Nellie and Ernie Morelock. He is survived by: his parent Merle D. Kern (Ted); his wife Terri Lynn Kern (Spurgeon); his children, Jesse Kern of Topeka, KS, Cassidy Kern of Topeka, KS and Jodi Kern of Fayetteville, Arkansas.; his mother Carolyn Kern; and his brothers, Creston Kern (Roberta) of Topeka and Galen Kern of Topeka. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
