He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Simnitt and Elva Wesche Simnitt; and his sisters-in-law, Earl Muller (Jean), Carroll Muller, Eugene Muller (Peggy), Clarence Seel, Juletta Seel, Lawrence Muller and Ronda Muller.
He is survived by: his siblings, Carol Heavin (Randy) and Norman Simnitt (Jude); his son Scott Simnitt of Topeka; and also Mary Simnitt. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
